Mini-Grants for Teachers and Guidance Counselors Available
In partnership with the Walmart Foundation, FAO is pleased to offer the Walmart Strive for Excellence Mini-Grants Initiative, providing investments from $500 - $2,500 to encourage and support the efforts of teachers across the region.
Grants will support learning projects and activities resulting in students' increased interest and pursuit of post-secondary education and exploration of career opportunities. FAO believes teachers' best know how to help their students achieve success and it is not lack of passion, but financial resources often prohibiting innovative programming.

In a series of regional Ohio STEM Conferences throughout the state, the Southeast region will be holding its conference to celebrate its work in STEM, hear from the region's students and share exciting announcements about enhancing STEM education on May 21. Please join us!

The Foundation awards grants to 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations and agencies serving Appalachian Ohio. FAO has awarded more than $1.5 million in grants since 1999.
