Healthcare scholarship applications are now available through the Adena Health Foundation. Adena's Healthcare Career Scholarship Program is made possible by the fundraising efforts of the Volunteer Advisory Council of Adena, The Women’s Board of Adena, general Healthcare Scholarships Endowment fund, the Gordon F. Streicher Memorial Scholarship fund, four named funds within the PACCAR Medical Education Center Scholarship Endowment fund, the Manchester Radiology Education Endowment fund, and the Volunteer Scholarship fund. The named funds with the PACCAR Medical Education Center Scholarship Endowment fund are the following: St. Mary’s Catholic church William Nolan Endowment; Junior Civic League Scholarship Endowment; Eagles Aerie 600 Herbie Retherford Memorial Endowment; and Stephen Fleisher Scholarship Endowment.
Scholarships are offered in all direct patient care fields of study with special eligibility criteria for applicants in the fields of Physical Therapy, Radiology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy and Medical Laboratory.
Scholarship applications, guidelines, and more information are available by accessing the Adena Health System website at www.adena.org. The application is located in the “Community Benefit” section on the home page.
Applications must be received no later than 4:00 pm April 29, 2010, at the Adena Health Foundation Community Benefit Office. Feel free to duplicate applications as necessary.
